In the backdrop of a slowdown in economic growth resulting in reduced credit growth and volatile market conditions, MBSL group reported an income growth of 22% to reach Rs. 3.8 billion.

On the same day MBSL intends to publish a Book titled ‘Knowledge Dissemination to the Business community’ compiling all the knowledge dissemination networking programs conducted by them, selecting a suitable eminent speaker and the topics to educate the business community and also building relationship in business on an ongoing basis during this period of 1998 to 2012.
Corporate Advisory & Capital Market Division of MBSL intends to publish a Book titled “Knowledge Dissemination to the Business community” on 29th January 2013 at Earls Court – Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo. It will comprise of all the knowledge dissemination networking programs conducted by the Bank, and with the direction of an eminent speaker who will address the various topics needed to educate the business community. It will lay the foundation for building relationships in business on an ongoing basis with the practical topics gleaned during this period 1998 to 2012. In addition to the Book Release, a seminar titled, “Three perspectives of managing business” will be conducted simultaneously.
